7. Conditional Acceptance Letter.

Upon receiving your application materials and application fee, our Admissions Committee makes a decision about your admission and issue a Conditional Acceptance Letter if you are eligible for the program.

Upon receiving your application materials and application fee, our Admissions Committee makes a decision about your admission and issue a Conditional Acceptance Letter if you are eligible for the program.

After receiving the Conditional Acceptance Letter, you are asked to transfer the tuition fee of the first two semesters and the Visa Assistance Package (250 EUR) consisting of the Medicover Health Insurance and Visa Assistance. In case you need a dormitory placement, please let us know as well. After the reception of your tuition fee, your Final Admission Letter will be issued.

To be able to start your studies in Budapest, you may need a special student visa entitling you to a Residence permit for study purposes.

Visa Assistance is part of our Visa Assitance Package. If you want us to and pre-check your visa supporting documents before submitting them to the Embassy/Consulate, please opt for this service.

Professional Requirements and the online interview

Language requirements

  • For BA and BSc programs: intermediate command of English (no language exam is mandatory, each student will be assessed during the online interview)
  • For MA and MSc programs: Upper-intermediate command of English (no language exam is mandatory, each student will be assessed during the online interview)

    Having a language certificate in not obligatiory, as all applicants need to participate in an online admission interview. During this interview, you'll need to prove your language skills and the admission committee will make their admission decision based on this. If you don't reach the necessary language level, you won't be granted admission even if you have a previously obtained language certificate. Applicants who do not meet the minimum language requirements have to start their studies with an English Language Preparatory Program. More information about the preparatory courses:
  • In English, Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic, Chinese.

Math requirements

In case of applicants of Business BSc and International Relations programs, a written Math test is also compulsory as part of the admission interview.

The final decision will be partially made based on the result of this test.


  • 0-29% - Failed test, admission won't be granted to the Business program
  • 30- 59% - Admission might be granted with the precondition of a 1-semester Business Foundation program
  • 60-100%- Test passed

Art and design requirements

In the case of applicants of Art and Design programs, a professional portfolio, a CV and a motivation letter are required in order to proceed with the application.

The relevant faculty will evaluate the materials and the final decision will be made based on the official documents, the online interview, the portfolio, CV and motivation letter.


The maximum number of points the candidates can obtain during the portfolio evaluation is 35. Some of the most important factors are: Professional motivation, digital skills, manual skills (where applicable) creativity, individual style, cultural attitudes etc, depending on the chosen studyprogram.
